Dear Diary,
|
1995.

For the first time in my life I read a synopsis for a new movie: "Strange Days". This time we were asked to actually make a song for film and it was great fun to do! Again it was a Lords track and the title was "The Real Thing". I heard through the grapevine that the flick "Virtuosity" also used one of our tunes, "Young Boys". Wow, it looked like we were getting somewhere in movie world.

Dear Diary,
|
Summer of 1995.

I went to the yearly reggae festival in a town called Geel on the 6th of August.
Thats where I met Danny, a guy from Israel.
Good-looking man. A bit of a hippie. My best friend Marie knew him from before (how could she wait this long to introduce us to each other?!). He was selling things: silly hats, bracelets, that kind of stuff. We exchanged a few words. How was I to know he was going to turn my world around?
Anyway, I felt the need for some creative freedom, so I made a CD under my real name: Cornelia. The album was called "Pages in a Diary".
It was produced by Daniel B.from Front 242. He loved it and had people calling him from all over Europe wanting my CD, but because of record company politics it never came out. Oh well
