Dear Diary,
October 2003

I can't believe how time flies! Especially when having fun... .
As some fans know by now, we're working very hard on Goddess Of Destruction.
Every day more and more I realize how good it really is - it has so much energy and dynamics it makes my head spin :)

The video for the first single is almost finished and let me tell you now ; it's going to kick ass!!
It took two days to shoot it. Let's take a look at our "video team" :
The fantastic Pascal was our director.
Lulu designed our beautiful costumes and decors.
There was a cameraman and his assistant.
A Director of Photography.
There were assistants for the lightman and we had a proper stage built.
We had 3 make up girls and 2 hairdressers.
A whole bunch of extra's.
A fighting coach named Pierre (from Sure Security) and
The giant whose ass we kicked - Stefan!!!
Look at our beautiful band :

There's Tom Spark on drums.
Danny Redstone on keys.
Lo-Life on guitars (check out his tattoos!).
Lucy Dark on backing vocals.
Me, the Darling Goddess :) !
Another girl will be joining the troops soon, doing backing vox aswell... .

It took 3 long days of building the set. Since it was a huge, bright place it needed to be darkened. It involved climbing on rooftops and on real high ladders lifting huge amounts of black plastic.
An incredible bunch of carpet had to be rolled out and sand brought in - a ton of it and it looked like nothing!
A fighting arena had to be built. It had torches and all!! Yep - we had fire going!
On the other side of the place people were building a stage for us to perform on.
A lot of thought went into placing lights and stuff.


The director had sooo much to think about it made me dizzy just thinking about that!! He's truly amazing, as well as his beautiful and lovely girlfriend Dannielle (her nick is Miss Lucifer, whoo!).

All the extra's got their make up done and they were looking fantastic ! Some of them travelled for hours to get there, wow... .

Danny was painted white : that freaked me out every time I looked at him...:)
He got to wear a beautiful long skirt - black and silver. He's so yummie mmmm.
It took my make up girl (Lala is her name!) 2 whole hours to do my face. The result is quite amazing, don't you think? Actually she just enhanced my natural beauty lol!
Also, I had these elf ears made by Lulu (I kid you not - that's what people call him!)

I loved getting my make up done - I find it very relaxing.
We started at 7 am every morning to be ready by 9.

Practicing the fight scenes - yes, there is a lot of fighting - was soooo hard!
You know, I've been working out hardcore for the last 5 months to look the part in this video : I've been to the gym most every day to build muscle and I think it's fair to say I'm in top shape now! But those fight rehearsals made me suffer big time. After the first day I was so stiff I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off!
But adrenaline is an amazing natural drug and it was there when I needed it most... .

Anyway, the director - Pascal - is working on the video as we speak and hopefully the result will be ready in two weeks. I'm so curious to find out what it looks like. Next Friday Danny is going to take a look at the editing... .
Ooooh, I'm so excited!!!
So as you can see, dear Diary, I've been busy.
Danny and I are doing the finishing touches on the songs and recorded more guitars this week.
We're working hard and having a ball!
Information will be coming a bit faster now, but I can't say too much yet.
Except this :

GODDESS OF DESTRUCTION ROCKS HARD!!!!
