It's been a looooooong time since I wrote something here, but as you can imagine I've been busy. The lack of sleep also kept me away from the Diary... .
Where do I begin?
Well...After my wonderfully tranquil and peaceful pregnancy our baby Indigo was born. I won't bother you with details except he was so comfortable in my belly that he didn't even consider to descend to take the normal exit. We had to get him from the emergency one :-)! Nice detail : we were told with every echo picture taken during the pregnancy that we were going to have a girl!! Imagine the surprise when the surgeon said "It's a boy!" Anyway, the birth is a long story but all is well. He is a beautiful, strong, wild, quick and very busy child. He keeps us on our toes.
In fact so much so that we had to close our restaurant to fully concentrate on him and give him all the attention he needs... .
We love him to bits! Ain't he cute?
Thanks to the fans for their congratulations and good vibes. Still hangin' on strong!
After being home constantly for 9 months, I feel ready to venture out again. A while ago Danny and I wrote lyrics for a Kobee track, called "Endless Thoughts" and it hit the charts in Belgium. It got to nr. 25.
We can also start pushing Goddess Of Destruction again and hopefully... . It would be so nice if we could finally do something with that great music! It's time I start performing again, I really miss it... .
Oh yeah - we were in Israel for a month to visit Danny's parents and some friends. It was so hot there we spent a lot of time indoors with airconditioning on or by the sea. When we came back we landed in the middle of a heat wave! In Belgium! There was no escape.
Of course for the last few days it's been raining and storming again and we have to turn our heaters on.
In August I plan to do a little cabaret act with a lovely friend of mine! Her name is Abi and she's hilarious. It's a dream I've had for such a long time...and now I get a chance. I'm looking forward to that.
It'll be in Antwerp, so any of you who are around, come see! Danny will give details as soon as we know what's up.
Here is a flyer she made earlier...
In fact you can go to her website
Oh yeah - Oliver Adams got married. What a great party that was! Lots of food and drink and good vibes. Many faces from the past - it was so nice to see most of them again :-).
We are in the process of selling our house...we'd love to move to Spain, just don't know where though... . Something will come up to show us the way, I'm sure.
Peace out.
