Dear Diary, More ’92.
After the success of Lord of Acid’s "Sit on Acid", the US record company wanted a whole album. We finished it in about 2 weeks! The name: "Lust".

Dear Diary, 1993
ImageToured Japan again as Praga Khan feat. Jade 4u! Bullet trains, busses and airplanes took us all over. It is actually a beautiful country, but shopping is too expensive. Even a normal cup of coffee costs around 8 bucks! Food is always an adventure, Sushi is not entirely my thing (raw meat and fish don’t really do it for me). I stuck to rice and veggies, Rosie and Jeffie(backup singers) brought chocolate from Belgium to have something to put on their bread and begged for potatoes in Restaurants! Everyone else loved it.
Oh yeah! I saw the Prodigy there. We had a little chat and I thought they were way cool. There was this huge place we performed at and they didn’t go down too good there. But they were in Japan on their own separate clubtour and I saw girls literally faint!
We always get an interpretor and the poor guy understood about 3 words in a row but by the end of the tour he was completely confused. One evening in my hotelroom as I got ready for a performance he called me: "No show tonight". I asked: "No show tonight? We’re supposed to meet in the lobby in 5 minutes and now you say there is no show? How come?" "Yes." He always said yes if he didn’t understand. "So, no show tonight?" I asked. "Yes", he said. "Come to lobby in 5 minutes, yes?" I asked him why cause there is no show. "Yes", he said and this went on for awhile longer but I was getting to know his problem and checked it out and of course there was a show. A great one.
It’s tough to speak with the Japanese, but it makes you aware of your communication skills. It’s fun!
