ME AGAIN! I can't stop listening to "WWW.DARLINGNIKKIE.COM"!!! This cd just flows along like water in a stream..... This recording is reminding me of just how addicted I am to the "GODDESS" known to some as 'Darling Nikkie's heavenly voice!! The harp on "Immortal" sends chills down my spine along with Darling Nikkie's out-of-this-world voice!!! "One More Time", "Starstruck", and of course "Cloud 9" are my current favorites!! BYE FOR NOW!

I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! And those of you who are still waiting, Patience. It is well worth the wait. I am really touched that N. can find the time to personally add a touch of herself by signing her CDs. And crank it loud when you get it. Nice to hear those little sounds in the back. tony

my heart goes immediately BANG for "so easy"...cause it's for me a love affair ! "so easy" was the first single mp3 and the so awaited solo song by Nikkie, the debut of a giant return ; I think music, harmony, word and voice are the most beautiful expression of Nikkie's humanity. "so easy" , and also " boom boom baby" are the songs that I'll always wait to hear in myself and singing by Nikkie. But !!!for a summer hit single, I think "cloud 9" with its glamourous and dreaming harmony on a light pumping rhythm, is the ideal song to begin a summer morning or to close at night a too busy day ...I vote for "cloud 9" and a keep "So easy " for more closer moments.... Mille baisers Nikkie and Danny and all you jadefriends ! Your Parisian "webmaster of jadedreams" Boy!

I have to agree with Christopher on this: I also love 'Cloud 9.' Although, I also love 'What To Do." That would be my second choice. I'm not a big fan of 'So Easy.' It's too...something...slow maybe, light, I dunno. I love the other two. I thought you said 'Immortal" was the next single in the interview on Canal Plus. I liked the interview, I could understand it!! I didn't get much of the Lords of Acid one. The picture would stop and the voice would keep on going, I hate Windows Media anyway. Love you! - BEN

From a commercial perspective I'd go for So Easy as the next single. Although my favourite is Boon Boom Baby. Have you noticed that a lot of succesful artists debut with a dance tune and the next single release is a slower song or the other way around? It shows the diversity of the artist. Just my humble opinion...

It's a real close race for "best next single," but I vote for "Cloud 9," I think it's more instantly catchy ("What To Do" is a close second, but not quite as dance-clubby). I guess it depends on who you want to market to...want another dance single like "Sugarcane" (in which case, choose "Cloud 9"), or do you want a more introspective, thoughtful follow-up (in which case, "What To Do"). What I like about "Cloud 9" -> disco/funk bass keyboard, dancey beat, sci-fi "Plan 9 From Outerspace" overtones (not a theremin...but close!), edgy & punchy bridge in the middle with the rotory vocals and buzzy synths. Once again: a catchy song with a gigantic, original kick! I think it's a good single #2, if you ask me. :)

OMG The Album Rocks!! I am IN LOVE with "Flowers" "What To Do" "Cloud Nine" "Sugarcane" "Boom Boom Baby" "Nr. 1..." ACTUALLY I AM IN LOVE WITH THE WHOLE ALBUM!! SO Melodic yet so Heavy and TRIP HOPPY!

I'm with Lucky on this one..."Boom Boom Baby" is my favourite, though it's a hard choice because they all seem to fall into different genre's. "Boom Boom Baby" makes me think of Cole Porter...and since Cole is dead, we need someone to fill his shoes. I think "Flowers For Breakfast" is a close second, it's a tough, heavy (in every way) song. I've said it before (I'm sure) and I'll say it again: these tracks are all beautifully produced. It sounds like a lot of work has gone into giving them the best 'sound' possible. As for Drag Queens doing "Sugar Cane," around here the only drag performances you're bound to see are queens impersonating Celine Dion or Shania Twain...it's sad! When one of the edgiest communities around begins losing its edge, you know we're in trouble. If I knew just one person would show up to appreciate "Sugar Cane," I'd do it in a second...especially if I can get that "Running Out Of Time" Minnie-Mouse bondage outfit on loan! :)

Nikkie, and Danny! Luv the new song,,"What To Do"...! Brilliant! Very catchy,,I will not venture to say what this song sounds like it is all about....just my interpretation.....When can we order the cd "WWW.DARLINGNIKKIE.COM" from the site!? Can't wait to get it,,ps..My friend in Steve..loved the autographed "Sugarcane" single....EVERYONE that hears "Sugarcane" LOVES it! If we could get enough copies of the single out to the right people in certain clubs here in the US,,this could be BIG here! Hopefully my friend will play it for people,,I would love to see a "Drag-Queen" do the song,,it has a lot of potential for many different audiences,,here,,especially in CLUBS!! Hope you are having a GREAT Summer,,,I am! BYE!

What To Do! Another beautifully realized track: distinctive, soaring, ecclectic, beautiful, heartfelt...I love the dramatic key change at the end of "I'm so much stronger than you..." It's inspired and sure to give goosebumps. Congrats for producing catchy music which is also thoughtful and original...none of your MP3's have sounded like cookie-cutter pop, they've all sounded honest and original, but still accessible. It sounds like www.darlingnikkie.com will be a real tour de force...no boundaries of style. I can hardly wait for the release!

Darling, I've come to praise you once again. I've just listened to your new single, it is amazing, it instantly put me in a good mood. It's very trance-e, your voice is amazing, I miss it from the new LoA album. I was so sad to see you leave the band. But looks like you are doing more than purrrfect as "Darling Nikkie." Will it be available in Canada to purchase? As well as, will you be touring in Canada so I can see you? I would -adore- to see you live, in person. You've been a major influence to me. I'm your number one fan remember. *grin* Glad you are doing so well. All praise Darling Nikkie, as she truely is a goddess.

'Boom Boom Baby' showcases your AMAZING vocal talents. I like how even though 'So Easy' 'Still My Nr. 1' and 'Boom Boom Baby' were slow they still had a bit of a techno in them. 'Boom Boom Baby' didn't have much of a techno influence, but it still was FANTASTIC!!!! ~ Lotsa baboons and single sales, BEN THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO UCH FOR WRITING YOUR SWEET WORDS IN MY CYBER WORLD WWW.BABOONIVERSE.COM!!!! Wow. What a beautiful, fun, dedicated 40's feel to this song. Sort of a Cole Porter/Adolph Green/Betty Comden feeling. Disarming, sweet, and funny. I love it. Every one of these mp3's has been so painfully catchy, I am in awe. And waiting for Brian Ferry to cover "Boomboom Baby" on his next album.

Hey nikkie!!!!!!!!! sugarcane fucking rules. it's nice to hear some melody and good lyrics. unlike the new LOA album. when you left the lords it was like the best thing for you. you have one of the most beautiful voices i've ever heard. please release your new album in the states. i work on a real tight budget and i can never afford to buy those imports. the usually range betweeen 30 to 58 dollars. i want your new cd so bad. i have been playing sugarcane for everyone i know and so far you have 16 people that ARE going to buy you album if it releases over here. an i have a question, DO YOU THINK YOU'LL EVER COME TO SOUTH FLORIDA? the last time you were here was with LOA (our little secret tour) i missed it cause my car broke down. ARE THE SONGS "SO EASY" AND "STILL MY #1" GOING TO BE ON YOUR ALBUM? i know i know, i'm only one fan asking for to much. but at least we can dream can't we. luv u

I'm very impressed with the new MP3. I'm so happy to hear that you have progressed so much. Your chill stuff is my favorite like "Shakti" is my favorite of your works. Can some one please tell me what happend to "morton sherman & belucci"? What if any projects have they done since they disappeared? Always thank you Nik for the old new beat that I grew up with. Love Julian "fan since 88"

HEY JADE BABE! I love your new MP3 so much! Its so sweet and sexy that it is a MUST for me to buy when you put out the album "Flowers for Breakfast." Its a shame that your not doing anything with the Lords right now but thats ok. The New lords crew isn't that bad actually. I like alot of the new songs coming out on the album "Farstucker." I have a question, what do you think of the New Lords sound and crew? Give me you honest opinion because im really curious. Alot of people are mad and pissed about the New Lords, but I kinda like the new shit. Tell me your opinions babe! Much love from Ohio and keep the music cuming! Later!

love the mp3! i saw loa in concert in august, and i was crushed to find out that you were not with them anymore. i've always wanted to see you with them but i lived too far away and i was too young at the time. my brother did get a chance to see you though in 1998 at First Avenue in minneapolis. i guess i can clutch to that fact for some support. i wish you were on the new lords album because it doesn't seem the same without you, but if you must be liberated, then more power to you.

Hey Daaaarlings!! I love your site and I love your new mp3, but one of my current favorite songs you are featured in is 'Sugar is Sweeter',by C.J. Bolland (of course you know thatthough). I just wanted to let you know you have the most beautiful and diverse voice i have ever heard. I introduced a few more friends to LOA the other day and they absolutely loved it! They especially liked Spank my Booty and Pussy!! Our Little Secret is still my favorite cd!I cant believe the 'woman' on the cover is actually a New York transvestite, oh well, anyway Luv You and hope you come to the states soon!!! U R SOOOOOO HOTTT!!!
